A Boehringer Ingelheim’s Animal Health Business Unit, a pharmacist with over 135 years of history, brought together one of the biggest names in humor in Brazil, Tata Werneck, it’s the MC Topre, which went viral on the internet after the success of ‘Turn off the light, turn off everything’, to perform, this Monday, the 13th, at 20:00h, a special live about NexGard Spectra®, new antiparasitic for dogs. Live, amidst a pinch of irreverence and good humor, they created a funk using the product’s tagline: ‘It’s one and that’s it’.
The live began with the comedian, who, upon seeing Toprê in the audience, invited him for a light and relaxed chat. In the middle of the conversation, taking advantage of the funk player’s presence in producer DJ 900’s studio, the duo created a live funk, after Tatá’s comment about taking care of her little dog Penélope, who takes a single monthly dose of NexGard Spectra®, getting totally protected. The singer liked the phrase “É um and ready”, took advantage of the theme and started a beat box, recorded the sound and, from this mix of improvisations, in the middle of the live the new funk was born.
The objective of Boehringer Ingelheim, the world’s largest privately held pharmaceutical company, is to highlight the differentials of NexGard Spectra®, the first oral endectocide for dogs on the market, featuring a highly palatable meat-flavored tablet that offers, in a single monthly dose, protection against intestinal worms, ear mange, fleas and ticks.

When talking to their audiences, Tatá Werneck and MC Topre also draw attention to the company’s rigorous care with the health of animals and the offer of products with high added value. “NexGard Spectra was launched this year and is already one of the main products in our portfolio, proving that Brazilian tutors are very attentive to the effectiveness of the solutions they provide for their animals”, he comments Bruno Gallerani, marketing manager from the company’s Pets area, which brings an additional warning: “Bringing the conversation about the importance of antiparasitic drugs for dogs at this time of year is also very important because it is precisely in the warmer months that the incidence of fleas and ticks increases, as the higher temperatures and humidity are a perfect combination for breeding this type of parasite. But with our solution, however, ‘It’s one and that’s it’”.
Created to generate awareness, the action is part of the campaign developed by AlmapBBDO, which started in August of this year, to mark the launch of the product here, through a fun film with animation techniques.

The live that was transmitted by the official profiles of @tatawerneck, @nexgardbrasil, @mctopreoficial, @900oficial and @boehringeringelheimsaudeanimal, marked the debut of the partnership between the pharmaceutical company and Tatá Werneck, which will last for the next few months. The action will also feature digital developments that include the official launch of the improvised funk ‘É um e pronto’.
