Director André Vidigal is launching the production company Veludo in partnership with Academia de Filmes, by Paulo Schmidt, who will take over as executive producer of the production company.

“It’s a win-win partnership. To unite my creative side and interested in discovering and training new talents with the production experience of the Academy, home where I started my career as a director”, stated Vidigal.
In addition to being founder and stage director, Vidigal will assume the role of creative director at Veludo and will focus on attracting new talent and proposing solutions for the scripts of advertising campaigns.
The producer’s first work has already aired with the campaign for the Forum of the NGO/AIDS of the State of São Paulo, FOAESP, which was carried out in partnership with the creative studio Faccion.cc and focused on discussing the stigma suffered by those living with HIV/AIDS.
“The realization of this campaign reveals how much Vidigal participates in the main agendas that Brazilian society seeks to discuss in order to have a better Brazil, makes him a more complete, sensitive, attuned creative, willing to take to brands the most appropriate concepts to achieve the best result and engagement of its various audiences”, said Paulo Schmidt, executive producer at Veludo.
